Dinesh Singh Kadakoti

Chef by profession. At home in the mountains.

At 30, Dinesh has already spent more than seven years working as a chef in Gurugram. Experienced in Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines, he knows his way around a professional kitchen — but eventually, he felt drawn toward a different kind of life.

He chose to leave his regular job behind and return to Machhor to spend more time with his mother and with nature. Today, he brings his love of food and his experience as a chef into the warmth of his family home.

For guests, meeting Dinesh is a chance to share food, conversation and the story of someone who chose to return to his roots.

Hari Kadakoti

A one-woman army, rooted in village life.

Hari Kadakoti is the steady force behind the family home in Machhor. She looks after the household, cares for a buffalo and a cow, and tends to extensive farmland — handling an extraordinary amount of work herself.

Strong, independent and deeply hardworking, Hari embodies the resilience of everyday village life. Her days are full of responsibilities that many visitors rarely get to see up close.

Spending time with Hari offers a window into the routines, skills and quiet determination that keep a mountain home running.

Come as a traveller. Leave with a story.

At Manral's View, your hosts aren't just part of the stay — they're part of what makes the experience meaningful.
